Jamaica?
Posted by: #1-Stunna - 01-26-2008, 07:47 PM - Forum: TropicalSim Forum - Replies (17)

Hey guys. I love your sceneries of MKJS and MKJP. I am Jamaican so I fly in/out of those airports alot. I also run Virtual Air Jamaica, http://www.vajamaica.com/ I heard you guys were planning to make a new version of your MKJS scenery this year and I have some pictures I think you guys could really use. I also want to know if you guys have started work on the airport and if so whats the progress like?

  Tropicalsim and FSX SP2 = 100% compatability
Posted by: TropicalSim - 01-25-2008, 02:31 PM - Forum: TropicalSim Forum - Replies (4)

Hello,

It's with great pleasure that we announce the release of the final patch for FSX SP2 compatability. All our 11 FSX airports are now 100% SP2 compatible. The patches availble are for the following airports

- São Paulo - Congonhas
- Maceió
- Salvador
- Rio de Janeiro - Galeão
- Bonaire
- Canefield
- Melville Hall
- Nassau
- Punta Cana
- Cancun

The following bundles also receive SP2 update:
- 8 Airports FSX Bundle
- 9 Airports FSX Bundle
- 10 Airports FSX Bundle

The recently released Curaçao airport doesn't need an update as it was already released SP2 compatible.

Best Regards,

Leandro Machado

aircraft "stack up" at gates at MYNN
Posted by: rlipoff - 01-24-2008, 11:59 PM - Forum: TropicalSim Forum - Replies (1)

I have been using your Nassau scenery for a while now and have had this problem the entire time (I think). Aircraft seem to "stack up" at the same gate at MYNN, sometimes three or four at a time. I'm not sure if this occurs at any other TropicalSim airports, as I just recently bought the entire Caribbean pack and have yet to visit all the airports included. For comparison, I haven't seen it happen at Daytona, Key West, South Bimini, or St. Maarten. There doesn't seem to be a way to include a screenshot here, but the aircraft are essentially all parked at the same gate at the same time--you can see them overlapping. I eliminated a duplicate AFCAD file that came with Flight1's Ultimate Traffic, but that didn't seem to help. Also, not all aircraft parked at the airport stack up at one gate, it's just a few at one gate and the rest work correctly. It's not the same gate every time either. I hope you can help.

Thank you,

Russell Lipoff

Need assistance with lost files (computer crashed)
Posted by: J.C. - 01-24-2008, 03:42 AM - Forum: TropicalSim Forum - Replies (12)

Good evening,
My computer crashed a few days ago, and unfortunately, I lost all my data. To make matters worse, my backup flash drive that contained my important flightsim files (including the sceneries that I purchased from Tropicalsim) became corrupted. I sent an email to tropicalsim@gmail.com with all of my order information (including reg/serial numbers) as provided by simmarket. Can someone provide some assistance in this regard? Thanks
